Cortisol, could be linked to kidney stones. Knowing that cortisol controls the balance of minerals in the body, it also affects calcium spikes that could cause your body to keep making them. If you have passed at least one stone you will probably pass more in the future. You can help yourself out by getting an endocrinologist to check your cortisoll levels. Believe me, I have been thrown around to several specialist and none of them think alike. Your health in your adventure, your story, do your research and know what to get tested.

Hypercalcemia Causes Kidney Stones!
Hypercalcemia causes recurrent kidney stones. Hypercaclemia is where you have too much calcium in your urine or blood. This can be determined by a blood test or 24 hr urine test. Go see a mineral metabolism specialist to find your problem causing your stones and there is medication to stop it. ( idapamide and other meds). My doctor at UT Southwestern is smart and has found my problem.
